you say you cut curl by curl but i have a lot of curls. my hair is very dense!
it's what I do! No rush
how would you answer that your product is different from other products such as kinky curly, ag hair care, jane carter solution, jessicurl, miss jessies, mixed chicks, Shea Moisture etc..??
I don't own @DevaCurl, I just LOVE it. It doesn't have silicones or sulfates
What are your thoughts on using coconut oil on curly hair?
Great as a pre cleanse treatment. I'm not a fan as a styling product over wet hair. Oil & water don't mix.........
Please stop telling false information regarding Shea moisture. It might leave build up yes, No Sulfates
No Parabens
No Phthalates
No Paraffin
No Gluten
No Propylene Glycol
No Mineral Oil
No Synthetic Fragrance
No PABA
No Synthetic Color
No DEA. Thank you
It leaves an oily residue on the hair that will prevent conditioner from hydrating hair (speaking from what I've seen). If you like it use it, but I can't support it. Here's what it looks like with & without Shea. You tell me what looks better
Air dry is healthier but won't be as full as diffuser. Careful diffusing won't hurt the hair. Straightening it damages it
I totally lost all my curls. It's semi straight & curly. I hate wearing it down because its by my shoulders & it looks terrible.. I need tricks & tips FAST!

I also just recently started using shea moisture raw shea butter line
I'm not a fan because it builds up on hair leaving it greasy. Here's an example of hair with buildup from Shea
I have nature curly hair but it frizzy so much what can I use to my curls last?
It's not about a single product solution. It's a lifestyle change using silicone free products, avoiding sulfates & never using heat or chemicals to straighten hair. Check out my blog for more ShaiAmiel.tumblr.com
So I went to this hair salon here in Texas and I asked for them to do what you do for curls but they didn't know what I was talking about. I wish I could come to cali :( could you give me advice on what to do for my curly hair?
Thanks for tooting my horn! What I do is pretty unique because I cut one curl at a time! No lazy haircuts from this dude. Read my blog at ShaiAmiel.tumblr.com
Clever Answer!! Lol well are there any other shampoos you'd recommend for silicone buildup?
If you can't get DevaCurl go to Whole Foods and read the ingredients. Find a sulfate & silicone free product

If all the DevaCurl products in the world disappeared what products would you use to remove silicone buildup and style afterwards that don't use silicones/sulfates??!
I would make my own ☺️
Can I co wash my hair everyday? Or would that damage it
as long as you avoid sulfates & silicones

Do you do afro texture hair?
Yes!!! The bigger the better #iLOVEtheFRO
Hi, question I called a salon that supposedly did the devacurl cut but when I asked some questions they said that they were all able to do the cut and that they cut the hair while wet...does this sound like the proper method?
I'm definitely flying over to have you take a look at my hair next year. My hair (4a texture) is pretty frizzy, my ends are split, knotted and I don't know what to do. My hair is very dull when I wake up and too big for me to put it in a pinapple. Any advice? Good products arent available in my area
No good products in your area? Where do you live?
I'm going natural now, and my hair is naturally curly/wavy and I was wondering what products would you recommend to put on it so it's not dry and what kind of comb or brush could I use that can untangle but not comb out my curls?
I personally don't like it because it builds up on the hair & giving a greasy film. If you like it go ahead & use it. I think the majority of the girls don't use it properly & it could be because it's sold at Target or beauty supply stores where anybody can purchase it without getting the proper education on using it properly. I believe quality products belong only in salons so experienced hairdressers can educate the customer before they apply it wrong & get the desired results. Everyone has their own preferences so do what you feel works for you. Over the years I've discovered products that perform for my needs & are not sold outside hair salons. If you find it in a drug store or a beauty supply, most likely it's not a high end product
