Gonna come down to who's defense holds up. It'll be a low scoring game. If one team makes more mistakes, they'll lose. No matter what it's gonna be a close one!
No one is giving Starkville a chance in this one and that's not smart at all. If SP doesn't take the Jackets seriously, I think they could pull off the upset. I don't want to go as far as saying Starkville WILL win but those around the state sleeping on them are making a big mistake.
They're high. I think they match up well with Shelby Broad Street's rushing attack. They won't be the favorite, but I like the Noles' chances on the road. We'll have highlights of the game tonight on The End Zone!
I will be attending Eupora at Baldwyn to see all of my Eagle and Bearcat friends. Wish I could be there at Calhoun City, but I'm counting on my Wildcats to get the win so I can see them next Friday!
No way I can pick one or the other right now. Both teams are playing some of their best football at the right time. Eupora's offense is really beginning to click with Trey Pittman and Corson Gunn along with Lamontae Salley then you have Baldwyn and Corbin Scott, Duke Upshaw, Devonta Gates. It's gonna go down to the wire. That much is for certain.
If Smithville can slow down the Jaguars' rushing attack, they'll have a shot. I like the Seminoles' chances on Friday. I'm not completely sure of what the outcome will be, so all I can say is that I like Smithville's chances. I'm rooting for both the Noles and Hamilton to win so we have an all-area 1A north final!
You know I'm taking my boys from City. Bias aside, the Wildcats are getting healthy and hitting their stride at the right time. They've got a better team and I like them getting the win on Friday.
Say north pontotoc wins Friday and so does Louisville and they play each other in north half...What's that outcome?? blow out?
Gotta take it one game at a time in the playoffs! You can't look ahead or else you'll lose both games: the one you have this week and the one next week!
I'm going to go ahead and count Tevin Moore as a running back because he pretty much is one. 1. Tevin Moore, Stringer 2. Jeramie Lawrence, Falkner 3. Tyler Hood, Smithville
So if he's so tough why would he give up on his team In the playoffs
Don't be cynical. Take my opinion or not. Don't throw it back in my face. You asked, I answered. If you have a different opinion on another player, I'm all ears. But don't anonymously troll my comment. That's not tough at all. That's weak.
Your thoughts on the north pontotoc/charleston matchup this week?
Big time match-up. North Pontotoc has the offense to hang with the Tigers but the big question is can the D hang with Charleston's speed and athleticism on offense. I really believe the Vikings have a big-time opportunity to win this game. It will be VERY tough but that home field will help. If I was Coach Sutton, I'd find that Aberdeen-Charleston tape and watch it over and over again and find out what the Bulldogs did that worked because Deen-Town had Charleston right where they wanted them.
Who do you think has a better chance to beat Oxford...Callaway or Wayne County?
Callaway probably has the more talent but Wayne County has the higher octane offense. The only way to beat Oxford is truly to out score them unless you can find a way to slow down their offense, which I don't think there is a way. That all being said, I think Wayne County has the higher chance to win since they can put up major points. Still, I don't think either would win.
Oh yeah shows that games aren't played on paper!! You should come check out the Saltillo baseball team that's what I play, it would be a pleasure to see you at one of our games!
