What do you think about Starkville academy's quarterback?
Houston is still young but I like the way he's progressing. He's got a bright future with SA.
Water Valley or North Panola? And do you think water valleys defense stop Hibbler and Farmer?
I don't think they'll stop them, but they'll be able to slow them down a bit. Dakendrick Gooch has to be big in the trenches to slow down their rushing attack.
How do you think oak hill will fair against canton and leake?
I know the Indianola game was a measuring stick game, but those 2 will show us if they can live up to expectations. I for one, think they can. Leake won't be an easy team to beat.
What do you think about Armani Linton from Walnut?
Beat Winona, focus on the Tigers and don't look ahead. Worry about yourself and your team. Don't think about being worried about them, focus on them being worried about playing you. Win the mental battle and you've won half the war.
I think he would have a great shot at ICC and working to earn an offer after that. He's quick and skilled enough to do that.
Ripley at Rosa fort prediction
Big game for the Tigers. You don't just stroll into Tunica and walk out with a win. Gotta be consistent for all 4 quarters. Can't wait till the 2nd half to unleash.
Boy you can't put me on the spot like that! I'd be inclined to go with Ripley right now but when you get to the playoffs, Noxubee becomes a totally different team.
best offense in 4A
Saint Stanislaus by a mile. They're putting up insane numbers this season.
you think ripley could beat a tupelo or oxford team?
I'm not sure I would go that far, but they could beat a high major 5A like a Germantown probably.
Right now, I'd honestly go with Dalton James. He's managed games well and played sharp this season. 4A North is somewhat devoid of a really great QB but Tyler Allen down at Saint Stanislaus is putting up big numbers.
how Ripley finishes the season and what about them in playoffs?
If they can beat Rosa Fort this week they're going unbeaten in the regular season. Right now they're favored to win 4A North in my opinion but Corinth and Noxubee County stand in the way.
What do you think about the Corinth and IAHS game?
It's gonna be a great game and a good measuring stick battle for the Indians. Gotta hit Corinth hard early to have a shot. I think IAHS can do it. They've played really well as of late.
They're facing super tough competition right now. There's no shame in getting blasted by Louisville because they're gonna win the 3A title. Playoffs are going to be tough right now. Gotta win this week over Winona
Who are some players you can see going somewhere In the next 2 or 3 years? College wise
Good question. Quincy Starks from West Point is a guy to watch from the area. He's a junior. Jeffery Simmons from Noxubee County is a sophomore and I think he has a phenomenal chance to be a special player.
Did you go to Ole Miss Saturday?
I did. Had a blast. Man, Johnny Football is unreal. Just like The Grove. That was my first time visiting Oxford just as a neutral fan and boy was it unbelievable.
For this season in high school, Saltillo. Man that was a fun game they had with Tupelo. Place was electric. Noxubee County when they hosted Louisville is not far behind. Bruce is up there too. In my three seasons here, Nanih Waiya when they hosted Noxapater in 2011. Still quite possibly my favorite football game I've ever been to.
If you go game by game, here's where I see it: Center Hill - W West Point - Toss up Lewisburg - W New Hope - W, could be L So best bet: 4-0, 2-2 would be worst case scenario. If they lose to West Point, then they may be in trouble. Lake Cormorant could throw a wrench into things with their decent start.
Who is the best running back in division 2a
If you count Bruce's Jay Johnson as a running back, then him. JT Herring from New Site has some pretty impressive stats as well.
From 4A North? I'd say Noxubee County since their defense is so tough. Don't look past Rosa Fort though. The Lions have been sharp this year. Corinth would be there as well.
