Do you think Hatley has a chance at football playoffs if they play at top of there game in division games?
It's going to be really tough. 3A is a whole different animal compared to 2A. May be more of a transitional season next year for the Tigers but every team has a chance at the playoffs.
Did you see the Saltillo and thrasher game?
I heard about it. That was unfair.
Bruce lost a lot of defensive players in football.
That they did. They'll still be very good next season.
Who do you think will be the quarterback for Baldwyn this year?
You mean next year? I'm guessing it will be Will Smith. He'll be a senior next season.
You should consider coming out to the Baldwyn vs Saltillo game Tuesday night
I will really try. I have to anchor Tuesday night so I may not be able to make it but I'm going to give it a shot!
In a earlier question you said Eupora is losing their best playmakers trey and lamontae, who is going to fill those rolls?
That's a good question. I have no clue who will come in at QB. Trey was the starter for 4 years and Jalan Embry was their backup and he's a senior too so that's up in the air. Would expect Jack Smith & Victor Goldman to get work in the backfield along with Claude Herard.
Collins will be the team to beat I think. They bring back darn near everyone except Mark McLaurin. Charleston will be tough again too. From the area I expect it to be a wide open Class 3A next season. It's anybody's best guess.
Who will be city's QB next year?
More than likely it will be Jojo Gray. Great pitcher on the diamond too. But they could go with someone else.
South pontotoc have a chance to get in playoffs next year in football with their new division?
I think so. This was a rebuilding season this past year and their biggest question mark will be QB for next season.
How will Calhoun City do next year after losing this huge group of seniors?
I still think they're going to be very tough to beat. They have a strong junior class coming up with the likes of Brieton Sykes, Jesse Nabors and Jaalen Thomas. They won't be an easy out in 2015.
