Why the hospital y not a clinic or sum

my family and i have never gone to clinics, i barely know what they are tbh. my family, well besides my mom, doesnt really exaggerate medical conditions. we always try everythung we can at home and then if theres no ther option the ER is the place to go boii. not to mention ny coaches told me to go to the ER or call a family doctor((: so thats what i did.
