When I was a kid, me and my friends went out to catch some salagubang / "June beetle." They cooked them afterwards, ate them and told me it was delicious so I gave it a try. So yeah, that may be my answer. lolssssss. (P.S. I wasn't able to swallow the whole thing. hahaha)
