No, I don't. I very highly doubt America would have gone for a self-proclaimed "socialist", especially when most of the rural people who comprised Trump's base have a deep cultural aversion to government assistance (they just wanted their jobs back). Beyond that, Sanders has WAY more baggage than Clinton does; you just didn't get a chance to hear about it because he wasn't the nominee.
