Lol that is true though. Marines are their own branch yet they are in the department of the Navy. For me it's SEALs all the way. Are you wanting to be a Ranger or SWCC?
I may or may not look into OCS cause my asvab score was hella high. If not I'll maybe become recon or sniper then become officer. It just depends on the scholarships

Aw Hell Nah. We have some things in common. We both want to serve, so I respect you. I am thankful to every soldier and branch. However, Marines dont land jets at over 180 mph on top of nuclear warships. Plus SEALs were rated the most deadly warrior by multiple sources.

There are many different opinons on this. And mine stands as it was the right thing to do at that moment. Yes we could have stayed and fought. But all Japanese soldiers and civilians learned one thing "to the death" the Japanese wouldn't stop until either they were wiped out or we were. Either way it would have been mass killing. So saving our troops with a bomb was, in my opinion, the best option.
