Have you got the neck cramps? (like similar to leg cramps you stretch the muscle by leaning your jaw backwards, a then suddenly cramps!!!)

Not now, no.

Do you drink alcohol? If not, what substances can I drink to obtain the smoothest of liquors which is your voice?

I do, but I really have to be in the mood for it.

Hi! I've been a fan of you and your work for quite a while, and it just makes me SO HAPPY because you're Korean like me! I've always been interested in voice acting since 4th grade, and seeing you do what you love made me feel like I can do it too! Thank you so much for giving me courage and laughte

This cut off, but I can see the whole message in my email. But yeah, fellow Korean, WHOO HOO! Good luck if you decide to pursue it, too. 파이팅!!!

I just wanted to say, I'm going through a really hard time at home right now, and your vines and voice acting has done so much to help me try to stay positive. So thank you, a lot. Have a good night.

I'm glad I could help. Hope things get better for you. Good night!

How exactly are people supposed to judge what makes a "good" voice actor? It seems extremely subjective and would make improvement a complicated thing.

I see where you're coming from, but I'd say there are definitely ways at least to judge bad voice acting. Hammy over-acting, clumsy enunciation, just unnatural delivery, if the character doesn't sound believable or if the acting takes you out of the experience and draws your attention to its flaws, then it's bad. When you get to the point where those issues rarely come up, then yeah, it could be a little tougher to find things to improve, but there always is something.

Dragons are real, and tame, but still have the nasty effects of being a temperamental lizard, including clawing, flying, fire breath, and acid vomit. On the other hand, tiny dragons. Would you have one?

Nah, that shit's dangerous

If I remember correctly you're a type of guy who almost always prefers subs over dubs. Let me ask, what is your opinion on actors known for dubbing anime, or those who take up acting with this goal?

I have the highest respect for any voice actor, and that includes anime dub actors. Dubbing isn't the first goal i personally aim for, but I would do it in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. From what I've heard, it is a very precise and demanding art, and people who can match lipflaps expertly, that's seriously impressive shit. If someone sets out to become a dub actor, that's awesome, go for what you're passionate about, who cares what other people think.

I'm sure you get this lots but I want to do voice overs and wondering what microphones are proper to get started?

I used a Samson CO1U for years, and I was fond of it. I currently use an Audio Technica AT2035 mic with an XLR cable and a pre-amp. It's up to you and how much money you're willing to spend, most people I know started out with a USB plug-in mic to really get comfortable with recording in the beginning, so you could do that or jump right into a nicer mic.

If you ever did an audiobook would you use silly voices for different characters?

I'd do whatever voices were required, silly or not.

Would you change your name to Jeorme if you got $.50 every time someone said your name?

no cause who the fuck says jeorme

do you play bioware games? if so who is your favorite companions in 2 random games of your choosing? if you do not play bioware games have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?

I love Mass Effect to death. I tried Dragon Age: Origins, but couldn't get into it. Interested in trying other Dragon Age games, though. My favorite Mass Effect companions are Garrus and Tali, I basically used nobody else.
