aw aw when I "came out " to my family
I made sure they were supportive first I would subtly bring up something like ," hey my friend ___ has a girlfriend " and then I'd talk about like LGBTQ+ rights and see what'd they say ((and thank god, I'm lucky my family is open minded)) and so I told them when I was 100% sure that they wouldn't disown me.
also it's easy for me because my school is so open about LGBTQ+ rights and it's easy to be yourself and say you're gay or whatever because it's so diverse!! We even have a GSA club (gender/sexuality or gay straight alliance) Club I go to every Friday!!
so like everyone that knows me knew I was gay ish and my friends are kinda responsible for this relationship because at first my girlfriend had NO idea I was gay but they told her and then she stared to make a move !!
im sorry i don't have Great advice friend and that i kind of have an advantage w such a diverse and open school--- but I wish you the best !!
