how would you react if a friend or family member came out as gay or bisexual ?
Depends on their beliefs and how they go about it.
If non-Christian wouldn't care unless they became annoyingly 'flamboyant' or creepy about it.
If Christian it would depend on their position: if they were struggling with temptation would support them and nothing would change.
If they started to accept it as non-sinful would cut Christian fellowship with them (after requisite admonitions). Although may still hang out with them in secular contexts; not sure on this though.
