What was the last book you read without skipping through anything?

Never skipped anything as far as I can remember, if a book is boring or bad enough to make me skip something, I'd rather drop it entirely

Opinion about current anime season?

Judging by what im watching Its Ok, I mean we have good things like Osomatsu, Bokumachi or Rakugo, and that for me makes it a good season, even the anime I don't consider the best of the season are okay to help me pass the time like dagashiKashi or Schwarzesmarken.

Which Nitroplus game is your favourite?

I haven't read all of Nitroplus works, but by far the one I liked the most was Demonbane, Hanachirasu coming close behind it. BTW this reminded me that I have to read Kikokugai

Opinion about Sidonia?

I like Tsutomu Nihei works, he has this great hability to draw backgrounds and huge alien/futursitic worlds, yet sometimes he writes really confusing Sci Fi/cyberpunk worlds that go well along with his somewhat wild stroke. Sidonia is not an exception to this, but I think Sidonia might be one of his more straightforward works, now, I only watched the first season and haven't read the manga, mostly because I forgot the second season aired, but as far as the first season goes it was pretty straightforward mecha Sci fi: Humans in Space have to fight misterious alien creatures that want to wipe them from the face of the universe.
Where Sidonia really shines its not its design (though Nihei homongous backgrounds are still present), the characers are really simple looking and some of them ara literally clones of others (this is explained in the series so w/e), It shines in the way it developes its plot and characters. Most characters are really down to earth, they have this emotional credibility to them, they are not exagerated cliches or even deconstructed archetypes we see in anime all the time, pretty original characters even if they are not really profound in the way they act or think, even if their actions doesn't have any philosophical meaning behind them (though the philo in this anime might come from another place), the same could be said about their interactions with other characters, is simple but effective, without adding heavy overblown drama despite the dire situations the anime presents, they don't feel heavy nor shallow, and this is an important point because the series expends a lot of time in character relationships.
For me the charcters are the crucial point of it, but that doesn't mean I didnt enjoyed its action, the action in this anime is really adrenaline charged and you can feel the tension radiating from the most critical situations it presents.
It took me some time at first to get accostumed to the 3D, but it was pretty fluid most of the time.
TL;DR Sidonia is a pretty good real robot anime with its focus in the chacters more than the mecha, I enjoyed it a lot and for me it was the best anime of the season it aired in.

Is there a documentary or book that really changed the way you thought about something?

When I was younger Nietzche's philosophy influenced me a lot.
Writings and essays of Fernando Vallejo, a writer from my city, more than being a direct influence, was more of a writer with whom I shared a lot of my thoughts of my own country, race and religion. Sort of the same happened when I read about Ayn Rand's objectivism, though I don't share all of her thoughts, for example I disagree entirely with her political views, but I can agree with some of her conclusions in other areas.
Then there is Wittgenstein's Tractatus, that small book changed a lot of my thoughts on epistemology.
Stanley Kubrick's aesthetics changed me a lot too, when I discovered A clockwork orange the way I watched movies shifted entirely.
There must be other things that influenced me hard enough to make the person I am today, but those are the ones that inmediatly pop in my head.

What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?

Once I fell and rolled down a hill a tree with spikes on its trunk was on my way downhill and I crashed into it, stabbing me in my upper back, close to one of my arms, It was almost 15 years ago, I still have the scar.

Ok then, from the tokusatsus that you watched, which is your favourite OST?

P3_Messiah’s Profile PhotoMinato
GARO, the whole OST. now if you ask me what is my favourite piece i really dont know how to answer that.

Which activities or hobbies make you lose track of time?

reading and playing good things, also drawing (something i do rarely now) i spent entire nights finishing draws.

Favourite GARO theme or OST?

P3_Messiah’s Profile PhotoMinato
Why you keep asking me those hard questions!? now i have to listen to every track of GARO OST to answer you.

Ok then, after the last question, which is your favourite Megami Tensei?

P3_Messiah’s Profile PhotoMinato
This is a question I make myself a lot of the time, but i think the one i like the most is again strange journey the atmosphere of that game is just brutal, the music adds a lot to that and the fucking dungeons stress you out sort of in a good way, you feel the danger, the presure, you feel at every step that you are in a Inhospitable place, you know if you mess up a step you are going to pay.
The characters are good the journey really feels like you are in a Squad with a lot of characters interacting with you and accompaning you in the journey, the side quests are fun, and the Forma system adds a kind of crafting dept to the game (even tho the MC is kind of useless) like a hunting and crafting RPG.
the downside parts of the game, but is not somethig that bothers me a lot, are the design of the dungeons (except the last 4 sectors), they don't feel as alien as some of them in nocturne, and another thing but is a minor thing is that the game didnt use its narrative to go in other ways different to the law chaos and neutral paths a lot of Megaten offer, instead of going for the Nocturne approach of having differents moral paths that doesnt neccesarily fall under those 3 categories. but i think is also part of the charm, to have that old megaten feeling.
Anyway I liked a lot that game despite its brutal difficulty.
