As soon as we get an offer. I actually lived in Harare, Zimbabwe for 2 years (right as Mugabe screwed the currency into hyper-inflation), but I did enjoy living there, and I liked South Africa when I visited!

What is your opinions about a guitarist who's so bad at improvising but pretty good at writing??

I am definitely much better at writing than I am at improvising so I guess I would say that people like that are good looking and deserve lots of Capital Grille gift cards.

I find that Cubase runs a little better on Mac, with that said I do also have a PC which has my old projects on it and I use that for gaming as well.

Hey Misha. I have a fairly cheap 4x12 cab and it's tone isn't great but it's loaded with v30s. I want to strip them out for a pair of 2x12s. I saw you said Zilla cabs were your preference. I was wondering, any particular model you'd recommend? I've been looking at the fatboys. Cheers!

I really dig mine. It's more of a scooped sounding cab when compared to my Zilla, I want to try miking it up soon to see how it translates for recording.

Hey Misha! I know you're also really into aviation. Is there any particular era within the last century or so that's really grabbed your attention? Do you play any simulators in context?

I would say the latest era is what captures my attention the most. I think the F-35 and F-22 are incredible machines. I used to have a flight wheel and pedals and played flight simulator pretty religiously, but I haven't really played any flight sims recently...

Hi Misha! Would you recommend an Orange 2x12 cab (16 ohm input) for a Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier with only 4 and 8 ohm outputs? And does this head really need something like your signature OD? Thanks!

It's best to match ohms from tube amps to cabs. However it is generally safe to mismatch your by but not exceeding 1:2 or 2:1. So you can use the 8 ohm out on the amp. I find that Rectos really come to life with a boost personally, so yeah I would recommend that for sure!

Hi! I have a set of juggernauts in my ibanez guitar (and they sound amazing) but I just noticed that the bridge pickup is clipping a tiny bit (cuz it's too close to the strings)! If I lower the pickup height I don't really get the sound I'm going for, any suggestions? Thanks Misha!

Just put it where it sounds best, doesn't matter if it's clipping if it actually sounds good to your ears.
