Is it viable to permanently enable modes such as URF and twisted treeline hexakill, or your data shows that by doing so the playerbase will be too split up and the new modes will be empty? I personally enjoy these custom modes very much, and I'd like to know if Riot are thinking of implementing them
Overall, player play patterns seem to be that they engage with featured game modes for a week or two, and then burn out on them. If we keep the queues limited, engagement stays higher when they are active than they would be if they were on all the time. There is a risk about the queues being too divided as well, but that's a lesser concern than the binge-and-bust pattern that seems typical.
