I can't go to the doctor on my own though, I have really severe social anxiety to the point where even just talking to people is virtually impossible, so the only way to talk to a doctor would be if my mum helped me with it and she won't

I believe you slowly develop it, and its normally caused by either drugs, or a bad experience. None of us are professional doctors. I would recommend just talking to the doctor about it. No tests if you don't want to. Just talk to him about it - Jake
