If someone hangs the Confederate flag, doesn't that make them enemies of the USA? Doesn't that mean they, in fact, hate America? And shouldn't they, therefore, leave, at the very least?
I imagine most are racist and like the landscape, cuisine and other parts of the US but hate black people. However, I have a rather sheltered northern perspective and know black people who have confederate flags (Darius ironically buys a hat with one on "Atlanta" and that's a kinda trap move I've seen before from afro-provacateurs) so I think the categorical is probably not called for. As for whether they should leave? That'd just be moving the problem around. They should stop being racist if they are. And if they can't stop, they should be prevented from doing anything.

Traditional schooling at prestigious schools worked out well for you. Do you think someone could achieve that learning at democratic school (such as Sudbury)? Looking back do you think the schools you attended were necessary to reach your goals as an artist?
I don't think what I did was necessary to be a successful artist. I was stupid in a lot of ways and also things are changing rapidly.
