If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

"Goo goo ga ga" - it'll stick with him, trust me :)

What will be the most powerful nation in 100 years?

Denmark (trust me, they're cookin' up some scary and impressive shit at the moment!)

What was your best birthday?

When I was 9 - I went to Pizza Hut with a group of friends, then we went to the cinema to see 'Toy Story' (still one of my favourite films ever), and then we went back home for cake and games :)

What was the last book you read?

The novelization of 'The Dark Knight Rises', which reminded me further of what a brilliant piece of writing it is. Before that I read 'The Small Hand' by Susan Hill, which was a rather run-of-the-mill ghost story.

Are you looking for a guitarist? Do you have any concerts scheduled in the south of France? I love your music :)

Thank you! I'm not currently looking for a guitarist, and I'm not currently gigging - but if I'm ever looking to do a gig in France I'll keep you in mind! :)

Has your Florida holiday inspired you with ideas for any new songs?

Not new songs (because I nearly always write the tune first, and I need a piano or a guitar for that), but I did write some lyrics for a tune I had already written back home:)

Have you seen any pantless passengers in your travels?;) Wishing you a safe return home.

Haha, thankfully no! Although I will say that visiting an American waterpark made me feel quite good about my body! :)

Do you prefer books or movies?

Movies, although I appreciate all forms of great writing (including books, graphic novels, poetry etc.)

Did Mickey and Minnie get back together, or is she still running around with Goofy?;)

Their affair sent a shock-wave through the very core of Disney World. Minnie finally came to her senses and went back to Mickey (after she realised that it would never work out with Goofy, what with her being a mouse and him being a dog and everything). She and Mickey are now in couples counseling - he says he's forgiven her, but I doubt he ever truly will...

Do you ever draw any Disney characters? Do you have a favorite one?

I used to draw quite a lot when I was younger, and sometimes I would draw Disney characters - the Genie from Aladdin was probably my favourite

Which bands do you find yourself listening to over and over again?

The Beatles, Elton John, Oasis, The Killers, Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Metloaf - pretty much all my favourites

Do you have any strange phobias?

Riding on the top of a double-decker bus - I always feel like the bus is going to tip over when it goes around a corner!

What genre of music are Oasis?

They were part of a style in the early 90s that was commonly known as 'Britpop', which was basically guitar bands who did anthemic guitar rock. They were fronted by the Gallagher brothers - Liam was the lead singer, and Noel was the main songwriter. A lot of people say they were just Beatles rip-offs, and while you can clearly hear the influence of the Beatles in their sound, I think that's a total oversimplification. They made some great albums, the best one being their 1995 masterpiece "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?", which I think is one of the best albums of all time. The band split up a couple of years ago - Noel went solo, and the rest of the band formed a new band called 'Beady Eye', who are pretty good.

How many hours a day do you listen to music?

At least one (through background radio noise alone whilst at work or browsing the internet etc.), but often much more than that - especially if I'm in the car or at the gym

When you have so much to offer (talent, intellect, humor, kindness, and good looks), is it difficult to find/meet that special lady with similar attributes?

(First off, I can't tell you how much hearing that description has brightened my day - I'm not saying I think of myself that way, but it's lovely to know that someone does, so thank you so much for saying it!) To answer your question, yes it's incredibly hard to find a lady with all those qualities. And even though I feel that this is the type of situation where you shouldn't have to settle for less than what you really want (and I admit, I have high standards), I don't believe that romance is solely based on two people fulfilling each others checklists of desired qualities - if it's the right person, then it won't feel like compromising if they don't tick every single box :)

What makes your heart happy and what makes it sad?

Seeing examples of kindness, compassion and generosity makes me feel happy, and seeing examples of rudeness, ignorance and injustice make me feel sad.
