oh god i honestly don't have a lot of "uplifting" songs, but maybe try "keep your head up" or"everything" by ben howard? or "little wonders" by rob thomas? i'm sorry i don't know any good upbeat songs so um yeah i'm not sure i'm the best one to ask about this. is everything all right?

the story is the same. the problem is that they pretty much cut out descriptions, flashbacks, internalizations, references, etc. complex sentences were reduced to simple ones in a way that makes the whole manuscript seem as though it was written by a first grader. (a first grader who knew how to cuss anyway)
