What is VPN?

A VPN is, to the best of my understanding, a type of network that is specific to individual devices (computers, tablets, phones) and makes up the identifying mark that says 'its this device' whenever you use it for anything. For example, if you watch a YouTube video, YouTube takes your computer information (vpn, ip address, location) and stores it, registering that you've visited.
So, that's why we say if you're trying to increase the YouTube views, you need to use a vpn changing program or manually change your ip adress so that the website doesn't recognize your computer as having already visited the video. Using a new ip address every time ensures that a new view is registered with the website. We also say to delete cookies often because those also register you having accessed the website.

The "captcha" image in the MBC Show Champion acct set-up page was broken. I tried it in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer. Restarted the PC. Nothing fixed it. I cannot create an acct. I can vote using KKT, Facebook, and Google+. BUT I was wondering if there are extra accts already made? Thanks!

For the live vote, there are two things that are accounted for with The Show, both take place DURING the actual broadcast that starts at 8:15pm KST:
1. SMS text messages - These are texts that can only be sent from Korea. Some people use websites like sms.rr, however we are researching more secure ways
2. Laifeng App Voting - We have a tutorial for that on our website under 'Tutorials' ➡ 'Live/Real-time voting'
Each of these options counts for 15% of the final score (30% in total)!!
If you cannot use the Laifeng app, please reference our tweets and RTs in how to donate!!

You should not log into your YouTube account because they can track that and we want new views, not ones they have already counted~ Never stay logged in!^^

No, you do not need to change the quality on Tudou. The video quality doesn't matter there, only on the YouTube official MV does it matter. :)

Try on a computer if you're only using a smart phone.
It seems like you will need to use a VPN program or change your IP address through your browser. Having a VPN program will change your IP address. You will need to change it to a different county. I'm streaming on YT and Tudou but I dont know how to stream in Melon or Genie. Can I still join? (in regard to our giveaway)

Yes, you can still join the giveaway if you can't participate for Melon or Genie, HOWEVER, we mainly made this project so that people will stream more. Please keep in mind that streaming is *super* important. Therefore, we can help with any problems KISSmes encounter for streaming, whether that be money or downloading or account creation.
Now, we do want to make clear that streaming through Genie is FREE and @kissmeland on Twitter has provided playlists where KISSmes can stream Genie for free. Or you can sign up yourself. Please ask @kissmeland for assistance. So, you should be able to stream somehow during this comeback.

Anyone having trouble getting it to load on Tudou? 15 minutes for half a page to load! I have a fast internet connection.

We aren't having trouble on our end here! It cou be a flash update or the IP address you chose. Try using a different browser then if that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.

4 searching Naver do I need 2 sign in/out betw searches? Erase my history? Ive never had cookies so I dont know about them

It would be preferred that you're not signed in at all. It would help erasing cookies an your browsing history about every 5 minutes, but it is not required. Finding your cookies should be in your settings, near your browsing history! Remember though, to do a new search after waiting 30 seconds from your previous search and just pressing the 'back' button is fine! Incognito/private can help if you're erasing your cookies as well.

I hope this helps, but check your pop-up/ad blocker settings! Perhaps you have it on? If not, then try a different link. If that still doesn't work then we recommend a different browser. Also, make sure you're not on mobile, but rather on a computer/laptop.

Does refreshing Stalker on the YouTube app help increase views too?

Unfortunately, refreshing Stalker on the YouTube app does not help increase views.. Your phone has its own IP address and the app takes your phones'. For multiple views to count, please get a VPN app (note: we have not tried any yet) or use your computer/laptop ajd change up your IP Address or get a VPN program.

Is it really necessary to keep loging out and in? (Referring to Melon streaming)

Hi there!!
You do not HAVE to log out and back in. This is just a suggestion so that the songs count for that hour. With Melon's chart, they count the hourly contribution, so either stop streaming right before the hour is up or log out and back in. This is to maximize the number of songs an hour, because if a song is played through the hour then it won't count for either - as far as we know.
So, it is not required, but can help with small technicalities. Just like one can leave their account streaming the title song all night and it still counts!

No, please do not start tweeting to SBS now. Those tweets we accidentally scheduled too early. We will definitely tweet when it's time to vote via Twitter for SBS MTV The Show. :) For the answer to your third question, no it's not just one vote per person. You have unlimited votes for all your Twitter accounts during the time period we have, we recommend not to do too many at once though so that you aren't stopped from tweeting by Twitter for half an hour or so!

We recommend that you both download the song and use the listen feature!! The listen feature can be equated to (is the same as) streaming, which counts towards digital scores!

Using the Laifeng app is NOT counted as either physical or digital sales. It is counted as live votes which goes towards the China score for MTV THE SHOW.
