Hi Ade! What is ur height and weight? (: you look like you lost weight

No way, when was the last you saw me? I've actually gained a couple kilos from exams, so I'm over my usual 50kg now. Last time I measured I was 1.7m

Did you try to apply for those courses but failed to get in?

I didn't apply for any local courses, I just went straight to applying for UCAS

If you didn't study in UK, which was the course and sch you wanted to pursue in SG?

Either Business in SMU or NTU Global Affairs and Public Policy

How much are you spending in average in the UK for your monthly rent, expenses etc? And how much are your uni fees? Why didnt you want to do a degree in singapore? (:

Accommodation: I stayed on campus for my first year and rent was around £146/week, which covered all electricity and water bills. We had to pay £3 for the washer and £1 for the dryer at the launderette. I've moved out to campus and got a flat on my own now, and I'm paying £675/month (averages to around £169/week) but it doesn't cover any bills.
Gym: £170 for a gold gym membership in school. Will be moving out to a gym nearer to my flat, which will probably cost double.
Cards: Got the NUS card which offers various discounts for students and 16-25 railway card which gives ~30% off your train tickets
Groceries: I used to scrimp on this a lot but I don't do that so much anymore, I've learnt to just figure out what I need for the week and buy enough to last me. I didn't really keep tabs on what I was spending on food either, I cooked 95% of my meals and only ate out maximum one meal a week. Even when I was in town, my cousin and I would usually cook at her flat after a day out unless we were really feeling for something.
School fees: It was £16+K in first year, but I only paid £14K because I was offered some kind of grant I think? Pretty sure it's £14.5K for second year.
Visa: I thought I'd include this because it seems like something people would usually forget about, and I just applied for my new one yesterday so I might as well. In first year I paid less than SGD$1000, I think it was a couple of hundred. I can't be too certain because my mum was with me and she paid. This round NHS has increased their charges, and I paid SGD$800+ for it, and another SGD$700+ for the actual visa, so it totaled to SGD$1500+.
I hope this gives you a rough guide of how much you'd be spending if you went overseas. I decided not to stay behind because I couldn't get into the school that I wanted to, and I didn't want to compromise anything else for the final leg of my studies. Also my cousin was already in the same school a year ahead of me, so that made it easier + my mum studied in UK during her teens as well. On the plus side I don't regret going overseas, and I actually can't imagine myself doing my degree here. It would be pretty maddening I would think.

What university and course are you studying and whats the duration like? (:

I'm doing BSc in Accounting and Finance at University of Sussex. It's a 3 year course! Would probably do a masters year in London after that before returning home.

Hi adeline! mind sharing whats your height and weight? your body is to die for! :)

170cm, haven't weighed myself in a while, would prefer not to. Thank you for your kind words though!

What's your trigger food may I ask? This week has been hell and I hope you'll stay strong xx

I don't necessarily have a trigger food per se, I still eat healthily but in unhealthy amounts. Thank you love xx

What's your make up routine like?

Undereye concealer, spot concealing if I feel like it (rarely bother since most days I go out without makeup anyway), tarte powder, 3CE eyebrow pencil to fill in then brush out with Benefit's gimmebrow, hoola bronzer, rockateur blush sometimes, tightline upper lashes and line with dark brown shadow, stila liquid liner if I feel like it sometimes and mascara. Sometimes I highlight my brow bone. Then I choose my lip colour for the day or just go bare. Ever since being here my face has broken out so badly I don't tend to wear makeup most days unless it's a long day and I need to look decent, or if I'm going to town.

How do you know so much about food and nutrition?! You should be a nutritionist or a dietician!! Haha :)

I spent years reading and researching extensively, it's an area of interest for me so I can do effortlessly without any pressure. I actually did consider doing my masters in dietics and nutrition but I wasnt a science student and didn't know if I wanted to make a career out of it, guess it could be a back up plan if necessary.

I can't seem to eat a proper breakfast without feeling sick. Like I wake up at 5 and have to be at work at 7, any breakfast suggestions or would it be better to only eat when I'm hungry?

I would really recommend eating within 30mins of waking up, only because it stimulates your body and gets it ready for the day. The reason why you can't eat breakfast without feeling sick is because you do this everyday and your body is used to the sluggish state you put it through everyday without having breakfast. Start small, and slowly make your way to make breakfast one of the biggest meals of the day. You could start of with smoothies (not juices) since they're liquid and that makes it easier to finish, also they're fast to make if you've prepped the night before. Throw into the blender and you're done. I say smoothies because they have the bulk in the fiber that keeps you full and sustains you till lunch time. Slowly incorporate more greens into your smoothie.
Also eggs. I eat 2 eggs for breakfast everyday. Also easy to make and possible to prep the night before (hard boiled).
You could also prep oats the night before. This actually makes it more voluminous and fluffy the next morning. If you like your oats hot, just pour in some hot water/milk or heat it up lightly in a pot, or bring it to office and microwave it.
Lastly, drink warm lemon water the first thing before eating anything. And follow that with a fruit. Then whatever else you want for breakfast. Helps your body absorb the vitamins and minerals better.

Are you still a health freak or are you more relax about food now?haha

Why do you care/why should you care, don't feel like I have to be polite to you, I am so freaky you will die watching me eat cause it's so much of a paranormal activity

Do you have breakfast immediately after waking up or wait till you feel hungry?

Most days once I wake up and wash up and get ready, but some days I wait till I get hungry

Do you still workout now that you're overseas?

Just went to the gym up the hill with my flat mate this morning. If you're asking about a set routine, no I don't have one here. I walk around campus and even around town so I'm active for some parts of the day mostly. I go to the gym when I have a spare hour or two. I don't workout as much as I'd like to/as often as I do back home, but the weather here doesn't really help and sometimes I can't be arsed to get out on cold mornings.

How's things dear?

Still on holiday so a little hard to say, getting familiar with high street, haven't really explored The Lanes, wearing sweaters lots, getting tired of English food/really just want a good simple steamed meal when I finally get to dorms, just found the soy milk I researched for & wanted so I am happy tonight
