no its not embarrassing at all! if people judge you for what you watch or listen to, it's just them being close minded. When I was in elementary/middle school people judged me for reading manga and watching anime, so then I tried to start hating it cos they kept giving me crap about it.
Well even if people made fun of me I would still listen to it, hahah. I orginally started playing it cos my boyfriend would play it so i was like "ok itll be fun if we can play it together!!" I didnt like it the first couple days but now I love the game more than he does LOL. youre even sweeter for talking to me C: youre super nicee !!
