noooo i'm pretty sure there are other books that have passages from fictional books as well!! as long as you're not also doing a fanfic about simon and baz or something very very very similar i think ur ok. after all, it's extremely hard to be absolutely original. most things have already been done but it's ok as long as u make it authentic and yours :~)
