I completely understand why E.L. James wanted to pick unknowns for the movie. Actors like Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder have already made their mark in the entertainment industry and they have been established as two well known actors. Jamie and Dakota probably wanted to step up their game :)

I honestly hate the fact that Jamie and Dakota are getting so much hate for being casted in the Fifty Shades movie. I adore both of them sooo much to the point that I would throws tomatoes at anyone who hates on them. I'm so many reactions on youtube and a lot of them are so negative :(
It's just like when the twilight cast was chosen and the hunger games. People hated them and complained but hey the films still did well and they still gained a bunch of fans =) I've just learned to ignore the negativity.
