Scottish independence movement: yay, nay, don't give a shit?

I wouldn't say I yes or no but I also wouldn't say I don't give a shit. I'm not really educated well enough on the matter to really form an opinion. I imagine independence will cut a lot of ties and burn a lot of bridges with the rest of the UK. Then again Scotland could become a much better place if we could run it ourselves.
I really don't know.

How interested are you in Assassin's Creed?

I haven't played an AC game since 2, so that probably answers that question.

What was the first ever video game you played, and which got you into gaming?

I don't quite know what the first game I played was but it was definitely a bunch of Amiga games back when I was like 5-6 years old. Cannon Fodder, Bart's Nightmare, Another World, Lotus Elise.. loads of them. And those would be the kind of games that got me into gaming. The Amiga in general. I have my father to thank for letting me play that, because it was his PC/Amiga.

yeah i mean maybe some retro games?

I've been playing some older games lately but not really any I'd be inclined to record.

What do you fill your time doing nowadays greg?

Games, writing, recording, editing, makin' moozik, reddit... eh not the most exciting of average days.

Unfortunately this is a minecraft question. Do you still enjoy playing minecraft ? and if you aren't so interested in minecraft vanilla would you be interested in playing some minecraft feed the beast ? I was thinking it would be nice to see you do some minecraft computer craft turtle work and stuff

Sorry, I'm not interested in Minecraft what so ever. Not vanilla, modded or otherwise. It past it's peak over a year ago.

will you ever think about playing some resident evil or something in the survival horror genre ?

If you mean in regards to making videos then I don't know. I don't really plan these things out too much. I'm currently uploading a semi-blind playthrough of Dead Space 3 to one of my channels, so I guess that applies to the survival horror genre?

Do you like playing games for the community or do you sometimes find it stressful with all the people asking too many questions and begging for too many games or asking you to constantly change or play 1 certain game.

I used to like playing games for viewers but over the years I've grown kind of sick of that. Interacting with people who watch my videos is easily one of my favorite parts about making them but once I let that consume and direct anything I do, it becomes uninteresting.
People don't really ask me to play specific games all that much any more. Chalk it up to my viewership bombing or something else. I'm not really trying to achieve anything on YouTube like I was some months ago. Now it's just a place to post videos. If people like them, they do, if people don't then whatever.

Whats the origin of the new name?

I just liked the sound of it. I mean Wikipedia tells me a Sundowner is chillin' with a beer or some alcoholic beverage after a long day.. so I'm cool with that.

If you could only play one game for the rest of your life what would it be and why?

I'd have to pick a pretty deep roguelike of some kind. Something procedurally generated with a lot of depth and variety. Perhaps NetHack, Dwarf Fortress etc..
Maybe I'd actually chose a tabletop game like Shadowrun? That has endless possibilities and actually involves real people and not just pixels on a screen.. or did you mean strictly digital/video games? If so then yeah, the original answer.. a roguelike of some description.

They may take our lives, but they will never take, OUR FREEDOM! FOR SCOTLAND.

I really don't like scottish pride all that much..

Where have your videos of "The Ship" gone, I can't seem to find them on MrSneakyMode or SneakyPlays

I think I deleted/privated them because I wasn't happy with them.

have you ever thought about starting to play league of legends?

I installed it once and played for 20 minutes before giving up. It's not my kind of game. I can handle a steep learning curve but if the gameplay isn't engaging then I don't really care.

"EA is the Hitler of the gaming industry" What do you reckon?

I think that's a stupid sentiment and I'm getting tired of people trying to shoehorn EA hate in to everything.

What game do you think will 'kill' cod?

Honestly? I don't know. I don't even think another game will kill it. Activision will. They'll eventually get tired of making it and kill the series themselves.

Okay that's great news! It's hoot to have routine and actually get out there and do shit haha! Game design seems interesting but it's a extremely difficult buisness to get involved in I think. Good luck to you though!

I think not having a routine is what causes me to have terrible sleeping patterns and thus puts me in a perpetual bad mood most days. At least when I go to college I'll have an actual reason to be in a bad mood ho ho ho.

are you a fan of the final fantasy series?

Not really. Those games and JRPG's in general are games I like the idea of but generally never actually enjoy playing. I have the same feeling toward MMOs and MOBAs. I don't care to play them or subject myself to their communities but the actual game concepts are interesting.

why did you go from being someone with loads of subs doing cod videos to very small sub levels doing playthroughs that don't get many views?

I got sick of Call of Duty and it's vapid community. Once I gave up on that I just started making videos of whatever was interesting me at the time. Minecraft for a while, in it's early days. Playthroughs were easy enough.
Now my channel doesn't really have a direction, nor do I particularly strive to give it one. I'd rather not be considered "a youtuber". I make videos because it's an enjoyable hobby and time killer. I don't make them for subznviewz. The money I do make is enough to cover me for now until I get back to college after summer.

You said last year that this was your gap year for education, what's happening now you going back to it or?

Yeah the first six months of that year off was great, then the lack of routine or need to do anything kind of started weighing me down. I have an interview for a college course in 2 days time and I'm kind of nervous - not because I'm afraid I won't get it - because it will be the final death bell on my freedom. I'll finally have to act like a responsible adult again. Potentially for a few years if I get on to the course. (Game design)

do you even lift?

I lift my cat off my bed sometimes if I want to go to sleep. Other times I lift sandwiches off of plates. There are plenty of times when I have to lift things.. the most important thing to remember is that it's all in the legs.. proper lifting techniques will go a long way to stave future back pain.
