1 they cuddle on the couch a lot and she rly loves his freckles and she lies on him and traces them with her fingers like join-the-dots // 2 bec isnt daves biggest fan and vice verse but they try get along for jades sake but it doesnt usually go very well // 3 dave sings rly well and when she cant sleep she asks him to sing nice songs to her and it helps her sleep // 4 dave said "i love you" first and it was a total accident // 5 when jade is sad she comes and sits in daves lap and they just hold each other for like an hour or sometimes 2 in complete silence and sometimes she leaves little kisses on his neck c:

au where jade is deaf and dave is pretty great at ASL so on their wedding day when they do their couples dance he puts her close to his chest bcause thats her favorite spot to feel a beat at or a rhythm he hums and so hes humming to their wedding music and shes crying bcause dave is so good to her
