what music do you listen to?x

ooh, I find this a really difficult question. I like some music in some genres (like certain songs by certain people). so I listen to a bit of Electroacoustic, Jpop, jSka, Jrock, Kpop and Krock, dubstep, hardcore, house dnb, techno, trance, new age relaxation/nature/healing, soft rock, etc :)

How much are wigs?

that depends on the store, the location of the store, the quality and the production n_n my price ranges are usually between £25-55 BUT I have also spent around £3-15 on a couple from eBay :)

How old where you when you first started to become 'unique'?

I think I was 8 or 9 when I discovered the darker side to fashion, I experimented with boys clothing and a darker overall appearance.
when I was 10 I first dyed my hair purple for a party and loved the change, I carried on for a while with the clothing and hair trials
I stopped when I hit secondary school as I wanted to be seen as 'normal' due to the bullying I used to go through, and it was a girl's school so I expected everyone to be quite girly.
I then ended back up in the 'alternative' or 'weird' category when I was about 13 as all the girly on trend nonsense wasn't me,
ever since I have changed my style once or twice a year, I can go through gothic/scenie stages (scenie was when I was like 13-14 and labelled more as grom because I wasnt 'scene') to more dolly, pastel styles (like flowing dresses and Lolita).
I think I answered with more of a background as the styles ive gone through have never been 'unique' as they were common, just not in my neighbourhood I expect.

why do you wear wigs?

i'm in love with candy colours, unique blends, fades, simple soft natural tones, so basically, allsorts. and as I cant have these all at once then...why not? there’s nothing like a wig to instantly transform and complete an appearance. I dont like my short hair so I can have long ones to stop the wait, also it helps experiment with colours and roles (like cosplays). I own plenty of wigs – long, brunette, pink, curly, wavy, short, you name it. and inn lolita, wearing wigs is common, among some groups considered almost necessary.
Some days when I get ready in the morning, my hair is throwing a protest. it's parting will be weird, refuse to straighten or look how it usually does when i just do nothing with it. rather that try to tame it and waste time i'd rather plonk on a wig for the day. mixes things up a bit. and you can wear wigs (depending on cut and colour) to most things be it formal or no. :D

I think that sweet draws the most attention, I think mostly though, it's certain items that attract the most attention. Bags shaped like food or animals, rocking horse shoes, bonnets, and parasols aren't seen very often so they're a lot more likely to be stared at so what you wear depends on the attention you get, I suppose.

Ok so the majority of Lolitas block out the insensitive bad comments, and embrace the many sweet ones, given by those who appreciate the beauty of the fashion. It's generally advised to ignore the rude and focus on the positive ones. As Lolita is a very eye-catching fashion, you're bound to receive all kind of reactions, just like other non-mainstream fashions.
i findhaving some music on can help you block out a lot of things and be a bit in your own little world. Even just having them in your ears, with the sound off, or very low, is a good excuse for ignoring people who make rude comments.
Be polite to people who are kind. Not everyone is going to be rude! Wearing Lolita will often get you a fair number of compliments. for an extremely shy person, this can often be just as worrisome as rude comments, but in this case, you should really just give a polite "Thank you!" to anyone who goes out of their way to let you know they like what you're wearing.
you might want to wear some "practice run" Lolita outfits, whatever you might feel is less extreme than your normal style of Lolita. Maybe this means wearing a modest petticoat, skipping the over-sized headwear, or wearing a simple cutsew instead of a blouse. Whatever makes you feel a bit more comfortable!

yes, we have been through a lot together, obviously it would break us down a lot if it was recent but if it was early on then I can more than likely dismiss it.

The sad thing about this is that even if I were to tell you, you wouldn't believe me and you know it. Deep down, we both know that you don't trust him 100%. I'm going to head off now, because this is quite sad - but I just wanted to let you know that you may want to keep a closer eye on your 'man'.

i'd take it into consideration if it was believable (dates, facts etc) but i'm with him most of the time so he doesn't have enough time to cheat if i'm honest aha. I do trust him. >< if you let me know on here/fb, I wont have a go at you, i'm very intrigued as to what you think you know :P

Have you read the book Lolita? It it is my fave novel, very controversial but very beautifully written

yes just because people comment saying otherwise does not mean I believe them, I don't let what they say get to me which exactly what I'm doing with you. The only opinion about myself that matters is my own. As it isn't very good, my friends try to feed me their faith. i'm very grateful to everyone who compliments me as it doesn't go unnoticed but it doesn't go to my head.
