why the name "aru"?
I remember explaining this somewhere... I think.
It starts with my username: a1l2d3r4e5d6.
As some has seen, it's my name with numbers.
One day, I decided to give my username a pronunciation.
Having a deep interest with Japan (Japanophile alert) I put my name in Japanese.
It resulted with the first two syllables being pronounced as 'Oru', which is wrong. So I corrected it to 'Aru' (you see where this is going?).
I took the 'Aru' bit from my translated name and added 'numeric' from alphanumeric, (because letters and numbers from username) and thus, the origin of my username pronunciation was founded.
I found 'Aru' nice so I decided to keep it as a shortened version of my username. Hence 'Aru'. c:
>inb4 another osu! user changing their name to Aru. :c
