What countries would you like to visit?

Discounting the Haramayn and Bayt ul Maqdis I have so many countries I want to visit.
Iraq to visit the grave of the Greatest Imam Abu Hanifah.
Turkey to visit the graves of Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari and Sultan Muhammad Fatih, to sit at the feet of the great Turkish and Syrian Shuyookh situated there.
Egypt so I can dream of studying in Al Azhar.
Morocco to see the great Madrasa of Qarawiyn.
India and Pakistan to see the Madrasas of Deoband, Saharanpur, Karachi, Lahore and Lucknow
there's so many other places but it'll take all day 😭

Great Scholars of Ahlul Sunnah with some dubious views in Aqeedah

Brother I've come across a disturbing hadith and have come for your guidance. It's a hadith were a woman was practicing Female circumscion and prophet came and told her not to stop it but not to be excessive. Some scholars hold this as fgm being recommended. But as we all know fgm is really bad no?

FGM is prohibited without a doubt. What is permissible is removal of any EXTRA skin on the outside of the female private parts and only a small amount. I think it's actually like their foreskin though I'm not too sure. Not really an expert on the female genitalia. This is according to the Shafis and us Hanafis don't have it. What happens in Egypt and other African countries is ignorance and taking this permissibility to an excessive level.

That's my point (I'll reply to other stuff soon) I've spoken to so many general folk and they're upon the fitrah. Imam al-Bukhari even said in خلق الأفعال that the layman's understanding of الإستواء is a proof too. Another eg is كلام نفسي, no layman imagines that when we say Allah spoke to Musa.

When we say يد a layman would naturally think of a limb.....that's one of the reasons we delegate the meaning and count is as a متشابه

Anyway here is one example by Ibn Abi Shaybah, the hafidh. « فهو فوق السماوات وفوق العرش بذاته متخلصا من خلقه بائنا منهم، علمه في خلقه لا يخرجون من علمه.» It's in his book al-'Arsh. I recommend Kitab al-'Ulluw by adh-Dhahabi, he brought plenty of narrations from the early Salaf.

I'll have to find the Ibn Abi Shayba quote but here's what Dhahabi has to say about Uluww later in his life after he rejected Ibn Taymiyyah

Brother Sh. Yasir isn't a proof. Adh-Dhahabi's book are with us, his own students who were Ash'ari like تاج الدين said that he was Hanbali in aqidah and a leading promoter of tajsim... and I will send you quotes.

In Siyar he's clearly promoting Tafweez.

And in other places he clearly says "I disagree with Ibn Taymiyyah in creed"
At the beginning he was a big fan but by the end his view changed

Lol you misunderstood my creed thing brother. There was no testing, I'd give reminders about Allah, His mercy, that He is above everything watching over us and so on. There was no "akhi this is a bid'ah, Allah is free from direction" nonsense. In reality people like you test with creed mA.

I've never said the words "free from direction" unless I was teaching Aqeedah or the person asked me.
We are allowed to do Taweel in presenting the Mutashabihat to the masses.
As far I remember even your scholars have the concept of Taweel Bi Duroora

Shaikh Dedew affirms the dhahir and is "Salafi" in creed with the Sifat of Allah but also believes that the Ash'aris and Maturidis are Ahl as-Sunnah. He even said he doesn't know anyone before Abul Hasan who held his views in Sifat (it's on Youtube)

He clearly says the Salafis who claim to follow the Sahaba are wrong..and his own students have told me he does Tafweez

Brother, تفويض المعنى isn't an Ash'ari thing? what are you talking about? تفويض is assigning the thing to Allah, so Ash'aris claim that they do تفويض of the meaning, this was also the position of Al-Ghazali, al-Juwayni and others before they repented. تفويض الكيف is affirming the meaning.

We believe the Salaf did Tafweez of the meaning.
Asharis came later so how can it be an Ashari thing

No where have I said this is my creed, we shouldn't get a knee jerk reaction in labelling of others as deviant. Do you know yours? I've tested many Ash'aris with their own creed and it's them who don't know their own beliefs. You can only be an Ash'ari if you study their books which is strange lol

Most people don't pray Salah....only an ignoramus would go round asking them about intricacies of creed.

also you say you want your wife to be maturidi, if it wasn't for madaris, you maturidis wouldn't know the creed except of the Atharis lol (the simple creed) So no philosophy, I've spoken to so many laymen and they accept Allah is above and so on without philosophical terms like مكان and جهة

Salafis aren't Athari
