what makeup do you use to make it last all day @ horse shows?

during hot summer months it is key to use as many cream products as possible and set with a powder version. for foundation use your normal liquid then set with a powder foundation. With concealer, i would suggest MAC's Pro Longwear (or any long-lasting liquid concealer) with a powder on top. Becca's cream blushes never smudge throughout the day. But you can use any cream blush and put a similar colored powder blush on top to set it. Then for highlighter it's the same thing- cream then set with a powder highlighter. I used Benefit's Watt's Up highlighter with MAC's Lightscapade for a long time but I just fell in love with Becca's liquid highlighter and setting that with Opal from Becca. For eyes, be sure to use a primer.

Do you like Stila's felt tip eye liner?

I do! It is very matte and lasts all day. It is worth the money!

Do you like your barn? I want to move barns because my trainer is so annoying and I've been to jasper for a show and really liked it

Yes, I love Jasper Spring Ranch. It couldn't be a better fit for me. But, it does not offer lessons. It is strictly a boarding farm. There is a trainer in one of the smaller barns behind the indoor arena (Shelby Bradley) but you cannot use the main barn if you train with her.

why don't you ride english anymore? my sister saw u riding western when we were at jasper for a clinic

Well, I do. But no hunter jumpers. I switched about year and a half ago to pleasure. I still ride english but in a different way. I ride western and english now- i love it!

why don't you ever ride scooby?

scooby is a very sensitive horse. he has a lot of issues with staying sound so i always let me trainers ride him. that way when he can be ridden, he is getting the best of the best. i try to ride him at least once a week or every other week! I often just groom him to spend time with him.

What is your favorite lipstick?

such a hard question. I have too many to choose from! some of my favorites are (all MAC) Viva Glam II, Brave, Very Sexy, and Whirl

Yes!! I love teaching people how to do makeup! It is my favorite thing to do

Who is your fav horse to ride?

Well, currently I am looking for a horse so I have just been leasing out two horses. Beauty(But her nickname is Pants)&Scooby. They are both great in their own ways! I get to work on myself a lot more when I ride Pants because she is a finished show horse and I like learning how to train a horse when I ride Scooby. But I do have trainers who do most of it! I only ride him once a week or every other week. I let them take care of it. haha

What are the daily makeup products that you use? you always look so nice!

thank you! if and when i put on makeup for school I was Too Faced born this way foundation, MAC's pro long wear concealer, MAC's Rosey Posey blush, MAC's Lightscapade (I have no idea how to spell it) highlighter, Better Than Sex mascara, MAC's felt tip eyeliner, Benefit's gimme brow, and I always use MAC's Viva Glam II as my "school" lipstick. It is such a pretty nude.

Do your best friends show with you?

I am really close with my barn family, but I am looking for a horse currently so I haven't been able to show since June besides the local stuff. When I get to visit my trainers and go to shows, I do consider my barn family really close friends. But all together, no not really. My best friends ride hunter jumpers and do not show that often :(

Do you prefer blue ribbon saddles or harris?

I have only ridden in a Harris once, and it was really nice! They are beautiful saddles, and a lot of my friends have them. I personally show in a Blue Ribbon and I love it! Really comfortable and lasts a long time.

what is your GO TO makeup for horseshows. like stuff you can't live without

my horseshow makeup routine is start with smash box photo finish primer, MAC's pro long wear concealer in NC20, Too Faced Born This Way foundation in ivory, benefit's fake up in light to highlight, MAC's mocha blush (really buildable, and the perfect shade), Too Faced dark chocolate bronzer, MAC's shape and counter kit to sharpen my cheek bones, MAC's Soft and Gentle highlighter. For my eyes, i couldn't live without MAC's eyeshadow primer (it saves lives), then it depends on what outfit I am in but i switch back between my Naked 2 pallet and Too Faced chocolate bar for my eyes to do a dramatic smokey eye. MAC's felt tip liquid liner, then top it all off with Better Than Sex Mascara with a little bit of Buxom's newest mascara (I forget the name) on top. I don't do too much with my brows. Just run little bit of benefit's gimme brow through them. For lips, it varies on what outfit but either a red or pink. MAC's ruby roo is nice and for a pink, Kylie Lip Kit Koko K is my favorite! Do you like your Samsheild. I have an IRH right now, but I don't know wether to get a Samsehild or GPA...

That's a tricky one.. Since I don't know if you ride hunters or jumpers, I think you should go w/ Samsheild. It is very versatile and can go in both rings. The GPA can go in hunters, but judges do not prefer it. It you're looking for MAX ventilation, go for the GPA. But my Sammy does great w/ ventilation too.. Soo it's up to you! And I've heard that GPA can have a wired shape, so def try it on before you buy!! :)
