You know what? Yes, I have changed. I'm not as nice as I used to be, because I don't want to get used or walked over. I don't trust everyone and tell them my secrets, because behind every fake smile is a backstabbing bitch. I distance myself from people because in the end, they are just going to leave. In the past year, I've also realised, I'm the only person I can depend on at the end of the day.
Thanks for your 'concern' and I'm not sure whether you meant I changed for the better. But personally, I think it is. I have amazing friends now. I never used to. I used to get bullied. I don't anymore. If we change our perspective then yes, you do change. But its down to you whether you let that make you a better person than you were before.
