I hate when Damon tells Elena that she is the best thing that ever happened to him during his whole life on this earth. Omg come on he spent 145 years missing a girl that he used to love so much, he just can't say that bc he's with her for like more than a year, ugggggh
Well I think it's true... because Katherine was selfish and I'm not sure If she loved him so she was not the best thing for Damon. But Elena WAS selfless and kind and so on so she could be the best thing for him. But she was that person only with Stefan. I mean let's face it after they broke up Elena's become a selfish bitch.
