I joined a band, do we have to get licenses for performing covers?
Nope. Although look into PRS to ensure the original writers get paid if you play PRS registered venues. Doesn't cost you though.

Songs I love playing, songs I'm best at, reading the temperature of an audience, playing some newer stuff, songs I feel are my strongest.
