Yes, that is true. Bulgaria spent 500 years in the Ottoman empire. That is why many Turkish dishes are now typical in Bulgaria as well (but the opposite is also true). Some dishes, like the tolumba, are spread through the Balkans, the Middle East and even Egypt. Others, like yogurt, come from the far east like India, but are also present all across the Russian lands and the Balkans. We all seem to have slightly different versions of some dishes and desserts. Mine is quite similar to yours, actually! I watch movies and sleep more, and I try to drink tea and warm stuff like that, but most of the time I actually end up drinking cola 😅 Essentially anything to distract myself. If its bad I also try to sit as still as possible - it helps with both a bad cough and nausea.

Downstairs. I like those sideways seats, the folding ones. I like to tuck myself in there on one of those. Everywhere else I feel self-conscious, but those seats somehow make me less socially anxious
