I don't actually maintain my weight, but when I gian weight, it's always my butt and tummy first! Ur body stores fats differently depending on individual, so don't worry about having chubby cheeks! They're cute! But I do control my diet sometimes by eating 1200 calories a day or less. And eat more veggies, they contain fibre to help u shit HAHAHAHA and caffeine can help u too, u can opt for warm green tea to boost ur metabolism rate :)
