What are your thoughts about marriage and divorce?
owww thats an interesting one. have a lot to say on that.
Genesis 2:24- Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Proverbs 18:22- [Whoso] findeth a wife findeth a good [thing], and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
Hebrews 13:4- Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
marriage is a special unity between two people who love each other and bought together by God. its soo important that God leads them and equips them in the courting stage to build on that in marriage. a marriage not built in christ will crumble. God needs to be present in it all and the two need to continuosly work on themselves too
divorce now...
I dont approve of divorce tbh unless in extreme cases one of them continually cheats and refuses to change and be a better partner. but then on the flip side ppl can change and Ive been raised to not look at divorce as a good thing but to really understand what marriage is ans its importance and overcoming..
again everyone is different but i wouldnt wqnt divorce to be our portion its quite toxic to go through..
