Acid Rain is a completely different song with a completely different meaning. There is no way you can compare the two.
Also, the question was asking favorite guitar solo/riff. I had to go with Bat Country because I find it more appealing than Acid Rain. AR's is definitely more moody and more like Syn, but I don't like it as much as Bat Country.
