As it differ from person to person, according to what I was taught, religiously, purpose of life is to craft your life according to the teachings and orders of Allah and his last Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
As we are all Muslims (not Moumins) we can't completely follow the commands and make mistakes. And we (from my perspective and mostly my personal experience) try to reshape the purpose of life and confuse the religion with culture and even some people (including me) combine the western lifestyle with the religion and the outcome is what we all are facing right now.
