I'm having a hard time believing that this is James... Even though I know Rian talks about me and Hope a lot.

I have a friend who has been down in the dumps lately, what do you think i should do to cheer her up?

I think honestly a great way to get your friend out of the dumps is to; try and take her mind off whatever is going on. For example you could go to the mall with her, or you could have a sleepover with her(: I personally have been down in the dumps before (a long time ago!) but what mainly made me feel better was that I knew I could count on my friends and they wouldn't leave my side!! It helps a lot emotionally to have somebody to just listen.
Now if you're a guy with a friend that's a girl... I think a great way to show her that you're there for her is to just tell her. For example you could say "I want you to know that I'm here for you, I don't like seeing you down in the dumps." Pretty simple... But idk what the case is for your friend, so you can add to that and adjust it to make it work!(: I hope this helps, if you have any other questions just ask me, I'd be happy to help☺
