I was in a relationship with this guy for almost 2 years. Every single day all he did was make me feel like complete shit. So bad, to the point where I stopped hanging out with anybody because the shit he said got to me so bad. I felt like I had to be careful around him with what I said, but stayed because I loved him. But what I realized is, just because you love somebody, it doesn't mean you have to be with them. Why be with somebody if you feel like shit? Why be with somebody if you feel like you have to be guarded around them? You should be able to be with somebody who doesn't make you feel like shit all the time. Somebody who generally makes you in a good mood when they're around. If you're not even happy around them, what's the point? Happiness is a huge factor in relationships.

As somebody who is currently 7 months self harm free, that's a little fucked up. They're people too. People who deal with things in a different way then most. People who either tried to reach out and didn't get enough help or people who are battling with a lot of wounds. If you self harm, please message me. We're all people. Who all have feelings. You shouldn't sit there and ask for an opinion on somebody who self harms. Man or woman up and talk to them and try and make shit better. Don't point it out to make them feel worse.
