"I did. But see, I wouldn't call it lying exactly..." He paused. "I knew something, and instead of spilling it out to him, I thought the best would be if I just keep that information to myself. Not one of my brightest decisions, because soon enough the word got out, and all hell broke loose."
Betty chuckled softly, "I still very much hate being called perfect, but it's how mostly everyone in this town know me as." The corners of her lips curled upwards into a smirk, she playfully tapped his arm with her hand, "How stalker-ish do we both sound right now?"
