A woman I know once said " I don't lead a *religious* life, I lead a *faithful* life". For me, that is the essence of how I feel on this topic. I am a practicing Roman Catholic and I love my church and my faith. I'm not looking for proof of God's existence because for me, I feel Him in a way that no worldly proof can outdo. I believe firmly in Him and I always will. However, I do not condemn those who search for proof of God, people who aren't as certain in their faith as I am, or people who are not theistic. To be honest I don't truly condemn anyone, because it's not my place to do so. I don't believe that my faith makes me any more pious, "good", holy, or "better" than any one else in any way. I don't believe that Christianity is *the* one true way, all I know is that it fits me best. Other people may have other beliefs and that's okay. I don't believe a Hindu is automatically going to hell because they don't pray to Jesus Christ. I don't force my faith on anyone, but I don't hesitate to share the good works He's done in my life. Even though I'm a Christian, I am a pansexual gender-nonbinary and I know He accepts me that way. I fully support LGBT+ rights, racial equality, feminism, and other stances that Christians don't stereotypically have. I also am pro-choice....*somewhat*. Personally, I would never have an abortion if I got pregnant, BUT I do support the free choice other women have to make the decision about their baby on their own. It isn't my place to decide what choices people can and can't make. Why did I just have to spew all that? Because society has, in general, marginalized faith and those who are faithful. (It's VERY important to note here that I do not believe all those who are faithful are spotless, all humans have faults -some more severe than others- but that's OKAY.) Is it okay to not have a religion/faith or be unsure? YES. Is it okay to defend your religion/faith? YES. Is it okay to cause internet fights over something that is entirely personal and there's no single answer to? NO. Do not fight with other people about faith, faith -or not- is a personal choice. Peace Out :) ~ Aly
