I think they must have lacked good role models for the way that you are supposed to treat someone else who you are and considering your mate and partner in a relationship and the amount of disrespect or disregard you'll put up with from the man who is supposed to be "yours." Maybe that girl was raised with the idea that "men are gonna be like that" and oftentimes her brothers are allowed to be able to get away with treating the girls THEY date with a similar casual attitude. But if it was turned AROUND, shit would hit the fan. She would have real trouble if she did the same to him. Girls who stay in the relationship with cheaters know what they are sleeping next to. But they often have a problem with their own self image so they would rather be in a relationship and have something than have nothing because it makes them feel like they are nobody if they are "alone." It's sad if you have to define yourself by the presence or absence of anyone else. I honestly feel sorry for girls like this because they grow up and have children who are raised to perpetuate the same beliefs that boys will be boys and women are going to have to put up and shut up.
