I think you’ve already confirmed you have a crush on him by talking about it. That’s honestly hard to answer tho cause I’ve had crushes on male friends and it really comes down to having the courage to admit it knowing it can ruin things sometimes

He’s your best friend he could have feelings for you and I doubt that you’re ugly. And well it shouldn’t ruin your friend group of your friends are true friends. You just have to be honest with him about how you feel because I liked my best friend and was scared to tell him but my friend said I should tell him and he also was the type who I could tell anything too. And I told him and he felt the same way and then we started dating and we’re together for 7 months and to this day me and him are still best friends and I love it ? he still means the world to me and well I was scared to tell him but I took the risk. So you just have to ask yourself are you willing to take the risk?

Definitely wait until you know for sure if you like him, but once you do figure it out, talk about it with him in private. If he isn't willing to go out with you, see if you can keep it between yourselves so your friend group doesn't have to know (also, I'm sure you look fine <3)

Confessing is the hardest thing. No one wants to be rejected. Just do it, if he feels the same cool! and if he's not interested, just reassure him that you're going to be cool about it to be happy to still be friends, mean it and leave it at that. Who says you're ugly? You? Him? Your friends? If he likes you he'll like you because you're you - love yourself and carry yourself beautifully.

Just shoot your shot and sure if it dosen't work out then you might lose some friends but you'll gain a heck of alot of respect for putting yourself out there
