whoever asked me this I want to hug you. this may seem like a really insignificant question but I have a million and one thoughts in my brain and I guess this is an ok place to get them in some kind of order so here goes
when I first found out that moving back was a possibility and very likely I was shocked. i was planning on graduating at SAS and I would be out of school in one week and never expected to be leaving shanghai anytime soon. I have friends that are moving and i was so sad about that and they found out a while ago so everything seemed pretty final, with them leaving an me staying and I never expected it to be me. I was so looking forward to sophomore year and the rest of high school at SAS, things were starting to be so wonderful and I was excited for some things next year and I was finally feeling so happy here. I had spent so much of my time here wanting to be in Utah, I had wasted so much time not being happy about where I was. I also feel so pressured and restless because as of now I have SIX DAYS left in my favorite city in the world with my favorite people in the world and I need to see so many things and so so much for the last time. i took so much for granted and will miss absolutely everything. I'm trying to be positive and excited to start over and see my old friends in Utah but truly I would give anything for just another year here. you honestly do not know what you have until its gone. that isn't even half of what I'm feeling but this is getting long and rambly sorry
