how do you even withstand those stares and glares when you dress like that? It's not like I don't like but in fact, i love it but sometimes when you take sg transport....yknow, people give that "you're weird" stares and i just can't dress like that even if i want to..:-(

Keep that quote in mind, babe! :) You shouldn't let such things affect the way you dress or what you want to do. Who knows, people could be staring because they think you are pretty or they are getting major inspirations from your outfit! And well, you know how some singaporeans are conservative when it comes to fashion. Think about it - you may not even see these people ever again.
I totally know how you feel though! Nowadays, I don't really feel bothered by stares thaaat much? If I do, I think I am more self-conscious about my face or haha if I got lipstick on my teeth etc. Most of the time, people are staring at my platform shoes hahaha. To me, if it is an outfit that I like, I would feel good no matter what! Sometimes, I feel pretty badassed and strut down the train station like that hallway scene with Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body haha jkjk. So, it really boils down to you feeling good about yourself and what you are wearing. If you love what you are wearing and feel great, who cares if people stare, right? :) Just carry on being awesome!
