How do you convince your parents to let you travel for that long?im older than you but I still have to ask for permission and most of the time they would say no (and ofc money problems lol).usually asian parents are quite strict,ig being raised in a western country does make a difference even -c

well, my dad is the one who's paying for my trip bc he's always wanted me to go to vietnam, and I'll be traveling around vietnam with my dad, so it's no big deal bc my mom obviously trusts my dad with me lmao
for korea, I told my mom that I'll be staying with friends (which is true! I'm staying with miri 💕) and I told her I already met miri in person (twice) and showed my mom pics to let her know that miri isn't some weirdo on the internet lmao
tbh my dad could prob care less about what I do ? I once told him to pick me up from lax (my local airport, bc I assume ur not from the usa) and he didn't question why I was even at lax to begin with ??? IDK but yeah my parents are divorced and my dad is the Cool parent, meanwhile my mom was gonna kill me the two times I traveled by myself (within the usa) and made me send her pics of my friends' drivers licenses and give her my friends' phone numbers and addresses
anyways, I'm also a legal adult here, so she can't really call the cops on me anymore if I travel alone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'M TBH VERY THOROUGH WITH MAKING SURE MY MOM IS OKAY WITH MY FRIENDS
