Build the career first, then have a baby. Unless you are confident in your abilities to multitask. Which may involve sacrificing a lot of sleep.

You can have both but you gotta know how to balance and plan for it.
Go about it the right way. Get an amazing partner that you can fall in love with, date till you're ready for marriage, get married, then have child. You can also have a career too.
