Junhong stretches out his body and rolls down the white mattress, stopping only when he collided with a figure facing away from him.
"Junhong go back to sleep," Daehyun mumbles into his blanket.
"Hyung," Junhong spreads out his body, and looks up at the ceiling. His ears flick high and he wrinkles his nose. "I want to sleep but it's time to play."
"We played until late last night at the playground," Daehyun moans. He rolls over and keeping his eyes closed, he pats down the blanket twice. "Come in here, it's cold."
"But apparently there's going to be snow outside hyung," Junhong frowns, looking at Daehyun's face.
He prods Daehyun's upper lip and bottom lip with his forefinger, alternating between the two as he continues to speak.
"You promised that we would go see the first snow together and you would make me hot chocolate with cinnamon sprinkles," Junhong says.
"I will, I will," Daehyun mumbles, peeking his eyes open to look at his kitty. He gives a small bite to the tip of Junhong's poking finger. "For now, come in here."
Junhong scrunches his nose, but goes into the covers all the same and faces Daehyun. He coils his tail around Daehyun's left leg, the tip brushing his pelvis. As he concentrates on the steady heart beat of Daehyun under his hand, his eyes flutter close and match the rhythm of his human.
Daehyun smiles into Junhong's neck, not minding the faint brushing of Junhong's flattened ears.
"Junhong go back to sleep," Daehyun mumbles into his blanket.

"Thank you for being a part of my life," you hear yourself say.
The world didn't stop, no, the world continued when you let go. Although he was only there for a short period of your life, you were happy that he was there at that time. For all the memories - the laughter, the pain, the sadness.
It was just time to finally let go now and write new memories, alongside the ones he gave you.
Goodbye and thank you.

Day in, day out Jongin ran inside the room to sit by his mum’s side and talked to ‘him’ – whoever him is. Some days he held up the green drawing he drew of cat and told him stories he read in his picture books. It was a lot, a lot of days later when his mum disappeared and took with her his only friend.
Jongin was sad the whole week and only came out of his room to eat potatoes and chocolate. His mum came back home with a smile, as if she didn’t realize how sad Jongin was and her ultimate betrayal. Just before he was going to run back to his room, he heard a loud noise come from her chest. He jumped up on the white couch and peered over. There he saw him.
Out of all the dolls Jongin ever saw, Jongin liked the one with the large black eyes in front of him.
The doll was not like cat or like duck. No, he moved and wriggled around when Jongin tickled
him. (Jongin found that he could bring out the loudest squeal when he made little circles on his light brown nipples.) He figured that he would never be able to talk to his mum’s bump which mysteriously disappeared when she came back with the little doll.
Mum kept referring to the doll as Kyungsoo and Kyungsoo was Jongin’s favourite doll.
