what was it like playing with xilver during owc? I think hes amazing but his tweets were always so negative it felt strange. I know he is a huge reason why you guys won but even after you won matches he still sounded unsatisfied. I guess thats a good mindset for improving?
i know xilver and i were never completely satisfied with our performances so we would always talk about how bad we did and how we should have done better. the team always tried to keep everything positive so whenever xilver would freak out about a losing a song or failing a song everyone would support him because i think we all knew how much pressure was on him.
as for the never satisfied even after winning a match it's because we knew when we faced stronger teams we would need to perform even better and we would not win if we kept playing how we did in the earlier matches.
so although xilver seemed really negative his whole mindset was incredibly positive he was the one who forced us to practice and forced us to try as hard as we could even when we didnt want to and we probably wouldn't have won if we didnt have him in the team. and yes his mindset is good for improving if you dont mind hating yourself everyday :)
