We must be very careful who we choose to take our deen off. My teacher said that people are so particular when they go to a professional for something. For example, a Doctor, they will check his qualifications and check his track record. Or if a person enters into a partnership with someone, they will check everything to do with their partner. But when it comes to deen we take off anyone. By our actions it seems we give more importance to health or money than we give to Akhirah.
Make dua for someone in their absence.
The Sunnah is the only way to success.
